ABORTIONS PERFORMED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND IN 2022
By law, the annual report on abortions should be available on30th June. Despite phone calls to the Department of Health and a fruitless appeal to FOI , we did not receive this report until mid-August.
As usual the Report is devoid of useful information covered by English abortion reports – the age and marital status of the women, number of previous abortions and ethnicity et cetera.
